The main PV for the first cour of the anime Aoashi Season 2 has been unveiled. Comments have also arrived from 10-FEET, who perform the opening theme, and Ai Higuchi, who performs the ending theme.

Aoashi is a hugely popular soccer manga by Yūgo Kobayashi that has been serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits (Shogakukan) since 2015, reaching its conclusion with Volume 40 in August 2025. The series has sold over 25 million copies in total and continues to enjoy strong support even after its serialization ended. Set in the world of J.League youth academies, the manga has drawn attention for the down-to-earth growth of its protagonist, Ashito Aoi, and its realistic depiction of soccer, capturing the hearts of a wide range of fans beyond anime enthusiasts, including sports fans. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2022, with the second season set to air from October 2026.

Set to "Triangle," the first cour's ending theme performed by Ai Higuchi, the newly released PV opens with Ashito and his teammates struggling to adjust to the high level of the U-18 Premier League, alongside Akutsu, Kuribayashi, and Kiriki, who are waiting for the members promoted to the A-team. It captures Ashito and the others as they face their own weaknesses on a high-level stage where their skills no longer come easily, all while continuing to look upward toward even greater heights.

In the latter half of the footage, set to the dynamic beat of "Fortress Defense" by 10-FEET, the first cour's opening theme, scenes unfold one after another, including a moment where Kuribayashi offers Ashito words of expectation, along with the characters racing across the pitch while carrying feelings of setback, jealousy, conflict, and impatience.
