It has been decided that the TV anime "The Vermilion Mask" will begin broadcasting on Saturday, October 10th. Alongside this, the 2nd main PV has been unveiled, and information and comments from the artists handling the opening and ending theme songs have been revealed. Furthermore, the 2nd key visual has been released, and additional cast members along with their comments have arrived.

The original work is a mask battle fantasy serialized in Shonengahosha's "Young King Ours," presented by original creator Dr. Poro and manga artist Nabana Naba.

Now, the 2nd main PV, set to music by MAN WITH A MISSION and yutori, has been unveiled. The opening theme for this work has been decided as "Firestarter" by MAN WITH A MISSION, and the ending theme as "Koe" by yutori, and artists' comments have also arrived.

The newly unveiled 2nd main PV opens with the "Night of Tragedy"—the beginning of it all—and depicts the indomitable figure of Peru d'Arrest (CV: Taihi Kimura) facing regret and conflict in order to atone for the sins he committed in the past.

A silent workshop illuminated only by moonlight and scattered mask designs. There, a young Peru sheds tears as he strikes a mask with a hammer. Floating up as if to despise him is the Mask of the War God. Peru shouts, "I'm a massive villain. So that a tragedy never happens again! I'll completely destroy my master's mask!" His figure—donning a mask, soaring across the city roofs, and heading into fierce battles—can be said to tell the story of Peru's resolve to struggle with the tragedies of his past.

Furthermore, there are appearances by Sonarue Maywood (CV: Yuki Yamamoto), who powerfully appeals, "All of his masks possess incredible abilities, and it's said that just one is worth enough to buy a small country. Please, take me with you," and Mok Sharib (CV: Kazuki Ura), who coolly remarks, "Things are getting pretty wild, aren't they?" In addition to Gouon (CV: Takanori Hoshino), who is clad in an extraordinary aura, characters who are key to the story appear one after another. Moreover, action scenes are shown of Peru fighting numerous formidable enemies using various masks—such as spider, chameleon, and cat—and their abilities.

It is a PV swirling with the conflicts held by Peru, Sona, and Mok, as well as the desires and destinies of people crossing paths over the masks. You cannot miss the fierce battles of Peru drawn to the powerful and immersive songs by MAN WITH A MISSION and yutori, and the drama surrounding the "masks" glimpsed within.
