The anime "Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-" is based on the novel by Tappei Nagatsuki, which has surpassed 16 million cumulative copies in circulation worldwide (including digital versions). The story follows protagonist Natsuki Subaru (CV: Yusuke Kobayashi), who is summoned to another world and confronts a cruel fate to protect his loved ones by utilizing "Return by Death," a power that rewinds time when he dies. The deep storyline where despair and hope intertwine, along with the drama of its highly individualistic characters, has garnered strong support. Since its TV anime adaptation in April 2016, it has expanded with numerous sequels and OVA releases, continuing to captivate many fans as an isekai fantasy with global popularity.
