'I'd Take My Laundry In Right Away': Sayumi Suzushiro, Voice of Kinme in Wash It All Away, Draws Buzz in Hakuyosha Uniform

Voice actor Sayumi Suzushiro is generating buzz with an off-shot of herself in a Hakuyosha uniform, which she shared on her X account.

In the posted photo, Suzushiro shows off a Hakuyosha uniform consisting of a navy vest over a white shirt. A name tag with her own name is pinned to her left chest, and she smiles as she pinches the tag between her fingers. She also wears a red ribbon in her hair, a look reminiscent of the cosplay of Kinme, the character she played. The post is captioned, "Time to take my laundry in soon (laundry basket and bubbles emoji) Good night!!"

Suzushiro voiced Wakana Kinme in the anime "Wash It All Away." The series and Hakuyosha held a collaboration in March.

Fans responded to the post with comments such as "Thank you for the off-shot of Kinme from her interview, the first in a while!", "I want Suzushiro to do my laundry so badly!", "If there were a shop assistant like this, I'd bring my laundry in right away," "I want to see Kinme played by Sayumin again!" and "Sayumin in her Kinme cosplay is so cute."

The anime "Wash It All Away" is based on the manga of the same name by Mitsuru Hattori. The original manga was serialized in Young Gangan. A human drama set in Atami, a seaside town where hot springs gush forth, it centers on a hardworking protagonist who runs a small cleaning shop called "Kinme Cleaning" and portrays daily life and interactions with the people around her. A TV anime began airing in January 2026, and the work has expanded across a wide range of media-mix projects.
