Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Launches Large-Scale Ad Campaign in Japan and North America! Ad Trucks Feature Narration by Son Goku Voice Actor Masako Nozawa

The TV anime Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will begin airing on Sunday, October 11. With the broadcast and streaming launch just around the corner, a large-scale "Super Opening Ad Campaign" has kicked off, centered on five cities in Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Sapporo) and North America (New York and Los Angeles).

In the five Japanese cities, ad trucks featuring the "Super Opening Visual" have started running. Narration by Masako Nozawa, the voice of Son Goku, plays from the vehicles, and in Tokyo, a special skeleton-style vehicle with a standing figure of Goku modeled on the "Super Launch Visual" has also appeared. In addition, wall ads have been rolled out at major stations in the same five cities, displaying a number of powered-up scenes from the enhanced version alongside catchphrases such as "Super Evolution" and "Super Showdown."

Overseas, wrapped buses are running in New York and Los Angeles, and the "Super Opening Visual" has also appeared at bus stops and subway stations. Ads are also being shown at 30 shopping malls across North America.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is an enhanced version of the TV anime Dragon Ball Super, for which Akira Toriyama created the original work, story and character designs, with new cuts added, scenes redrawn and the story restructured. Set several years after the fierce battle with Majin Buu, it depicts a universe-shaking battle between Beerus, the God of Destruction who has awakened from a long slumber, and Goku and his friends.
