The anime PSYREN will begin airing in sequence on TOKYO MX and other stations at 11 p.m. on Monday, October 5. To mark the premiere, congratulatory illustrations have arrived from creators connected to original author Toshiaki Iwashiro.

The illustrations come from five creators: Yujiro Sakamoto (Takaya), Yuki Tabata (Black Clover), Ryuhei Tamura (Beelzebub), Naoya Matsumoto (Kaiju No. 8), and Daisuke Miyata (Saikyo no Uta). They celebrate the long-awaited anime adaptation, which arrives about 15 years after the series concluded.

Ahead of the broadcast, the non-credit opening video has also been released. Set to the high-energy opening theme "WARNING!!" by CLAN QUEEN, it depicts both the present-day world and the collapsed future world. It captures the fierce battles of Ageha Yoshina (voiced by Rikuya Yasuda) and his allies as they desperately fight to take back their future, and it even includes glimpses of characters who have not yet been revealed.

PSYREN is based on the supernatural battle suspense manga by Toshiaki Iwashiro, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2008 to 2010. About 15 years after its conclusion, it still enjoys enduring popularity and has finally received its long-awaited anime adaptation.
