"Love the Bare Midriffs" "Endless Summer!" Fans Thrilled by Chisato and Takina in Lycoris Recoil's Miyako Island Collaboration

The official X account for the anime Lycoris Recoil has announced "LYCORIS RECOIL × Blue Turtle Collaboration 2026," a collaboration event with Blue Turtle, a café restaurant on Miyako Island in Okinawa, along with a collaboration visual, creating a big buzz among fans. The newly drawn visual by manga artist Imigimuru, who handles the series' character design, is brimming with an endless-summer feel and has drawn a large response.

Lycoris Recoil is an original anime that follows the exploits of the Lycoris, girls who serve as agents of the secret organization "DA (Direct Attack)," which stops crimes before they happen. The series won popularity for its portrayal of Chisato, a Lycoris hailed as the strongest ever, and Takina, a talented agent with a troubled past, as they take on all kinds of incidents while working on the surface as staff at the coffee shop "Café LycoReco."

The announcement covers a collaboration café offering collaboration merchandise and a collaboration menu, as well as a hotel collaboration featuring accommodation plans that come with a merchandise set. The released visual shows Chisato Nishikigi (voiced by Chika Anzai) and Takina Inoue (voiced by Shion Wakayama) dressed in tropical resort wear against a backdrop of blue skies and a beautiful sea. The two wear matching outfits of yellow sunglasses, aloha shirts, and midriff-baring denim looks, in an illustration packed with tropical openness and stylish design.

In response to the post, fans have shared a flood of delighted and enthusiastic comments, such as "Whoa, so cute! Is this Chisato and Takina by Imigimuru?? This low-angle face is way too cute," "The new Blue Turtle collab illustration is insanely cool...! Oh no, I think I'm going to get a nosebleed," "Whoaaa, that's Chisato and Takina in such an Imigimuru style," "Just like the last collab, Imigimuru's illustrations are too good. The collab food and the hotel both look like they'll make for the best travel memories," "Bare midriffs are great, aren't they? I'm definitely splurging on merch for this one," "Great designs," and "Endless summer!"
