Taiki Learns from Yumeka That Chinatsu Is Why She Quit Basketball… Blue Box Season 2 Episode 27 Synopsis and Teaser Cuts Released

The teaser cuts and synopsis for Episode 27 of the anime Blue Box Season 2 have been released.

Blue Box is based on the manga by Kouji Miura serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. Set at a middle and high school with strong sports programs, the story begins when Taiki Inomata (voiced by Shoya Chiba) of the boys' badminton team falls for Chinatsu Kano (voiced by Reina Ueda), a year ahead of him and the ace of the girls' basketball team. The series has won over many fans with its down-to-earth characters, their earnest dedication to their clubs, and its delicate portrayal of the feelings that come with "falling for someone." The TV anime's Season 1 aired in 2024, and Season 2 began airing on October 4, 2026, every Sunday at 4:30 p.m. on a 28-station TBS network across Japan.

Episode 27 "Admiration" Synopsis
Having witnessed Chinatsu and Yumeka's reunion, Taiki senses a tension between the two that is far from ordinary. Some time later, he runs into Yumeka by chance in the neighborhood, and she tells him that Chinatsu was the reason she quit basketball. After returning home, Taiki goes for a walk with Chinatsu, who also tells him about how she met Yumeka and the admiration and feelings she has held for her.
