Fans Swoon Over Tougen Anki Mini Anime Episode 25: “Mini Characters Are Too Precious to Survive,” “Amazing to See These Two Together”

Episode 25 of the mini anime “Onimomomomo” has been released on the official Tougen Anki project YouTube channel. Fans have been sharing plenty of joyful reactions to the mini versions of Naito Mudano (voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya), Hagure Nekosaki (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto), and Yu Innami (voiced by Kento Ito).

The Tougen Anki anime is based on the manga by Yura Urushibara, serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten). Drawing on the folk tale “Momotaro,” which everyone in Japan knows, it depicts the conflict between those who carry oni blood and those who carry the blood of Momotaro. The Kyoto Arc aired from July 2025, followed by the Nerima Arc from October, and the second season, the Nikko Kegon Falls Arc, began in October 2026.

“Onimomomomo” is an original mini anime streamed on the official Tougen Anki project YouTube channel. Supervised by Urushibara, it releases a new episode every other week during the broadcast period, offering laid-back, cute stories that may or may not be related to the main series.

Episode 25 of “Onimomomomo” features Mudano, Nekosaki, and Innami. Mudano begins explaining the traits and personalities of the Rasetsu Academy students to Nekosaki and Innami. However, the descriptions are all brutally blunt, such as “Idiot,” “Idiot #2,” and “Idiot #3”...

Fans responded to the video with delighted comments such as “Nekosaki being a little smaller is so cute,” “Innami has shoujo-manga eyes, I burst out laughing lol,” “Mini characters are too precious, I might die,” and “It’s amazing to get to see these two.” Others wrote, “I didn’t expect even Kougasaki to be Idiot #3, but I love it” and “Jin getting called an idiot too made me laugh lol.” Some commenters also said, “It’s so great that Mudano really pays attention to his students” and “I’m pretty happy to learn what Mudano thinks of his students.”
