Together they share a twisted, life-or-death romance. The TV anime began airing in October 2026.

Episode 1 of the mini anime ‘Firefly Wedding Choitashi,’ titled “Unfit Bodyguard,” features Satoko and her childhood friend and bodyguard, Kotaro. As Satoko prepares to go out into town for the first time in a while, Kotaro tells her, “Let me know if you start feeling unwell. I’ll carry you home on my back.” Satoko blushes in spite of herself. Meanwhile, Kotaro imagines himself carrying Satoko on his back...
