Favorite Detail: The Wig's Blunt-Cut Sides! Satono Diamond Cosplay from Umamusume

Tokyo Game Show 2026 was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture from September 17 to 21, 2026 (September 21 was online streaming only). We feature photos of Loka, who attended in a Satono Diamond cosplay from "Umamusume: Pretty Derby," and ask about the focus of the cosplay and upcoming plans in an interview.

——Thank you for joining us for an interview again after TGS 2025! What made you want to cosplay Satono Diamond from "Umamusume: Pretty Derby" this time?

Loka : I've loved her since the Support Card was released in 2021, and I'd always wanted to cosplay her. I also decided on my cosplay plans at the very last minute, so I picked a character I could manage from the costumes I already had on hand.

——What do you like most about this cosplay?

Loka: I made the ear ornaments in a hurry, and I'm glad they turned out looking quite beautiful. I was also able to style the wig's blunt-cut side hair in a well-balanced way, which gave a slimming effect to the face, and I'm happy about that too.

——When and how did you first come across "Umamusume," and what do you find appealing about it?

Loka: I learned about this work in 2021. I started the game on my sibling's recommendation, and before I knew it I was completely hooked. What appeals to me is that the bloodlines, race records, and lives as racehorses of the horses the characters are modeled on are faithfully woven into the stories and conversations. There are also many touching stories that you can appreciate even more by knowing the history.

The racing outfit designs are also very beautiful, and I enjoy them while thinking, "So this is how elements of the racehorse they're based on are worked into the design!" and "What a skillful design!"
