The latest One Piece game, ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet was released on Thursday, October 22, for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. The Steam, App Store, and Google Play versions were released on Friday, October 23.

Set in a One Piece world that is a little different from the usual, the game is a simulation title in which players work as a rookie staff member at the second Baratie location, running a floating restaurant together with the Straw Hat Pirates. Created in collaboration with Kairosoft, it arrives as a pixel-art management simulation game.

In the game, players develop dishes together with Sanji and can expand their repertoire by obtaining new ingredients on adventures. Special dishes that make use of Devil Fruit powers are also said to appear. Players can also freely arrange more than 200 types of furniture and buildings to design their ideal restaurant. Furniture inspired by islands from the story is included as well, such as Whole Cake Island-style sweets furniture and futuristic Egghead-style interiors. More than 400 characters visit the restaurant, and players can enjoy character events and interactions found nowhere else.

To commemorate the release, a comment from original creator Eiichiro Oda has been made public. A launch trailer packed with the game's appeal is also available now. The music is performed by Osaka-born rapper KOPERU, whose "GochiRes RAP" sings of the game's world. In addition, streaming support materials that can be used for gameplay streams and video uploads are being distributed on the official website.

The mobile versions (App Store, Google Play) are offered as buy-to-play titles with no additional in-app purchases, and the game also supports Google Play Games on PC.

The Nintendo Switch 2 physical edition comes with an "Original Stickers of 100 Characters" set as a limited-quantity bonus. A super deluxe edition is also available, bundling lavish extras such as a Luffy plush that recreates an item appearing in the game.
