—What did you pay attention to in your cosplay this time?

Nekomiya: From a cosplay perspective, I thought Tifa was a natural-looking character, so after much thought I cosplayed with my own hair. I also kept the makeup natural while practicing many times and experimenting so that Tifa's visual image and expressions would come across.

I based my poses on how she appears in the game, but many photographers who love Final Fantasy came to the event and thought up poses together with me, which broadened my range!

—Please tell us when and how you first came into contact with the Final Fantasy series, and what you find appealing about it.

Nekomiya: Since I was a child, my parents and cousins played it, so I was exposed to it, but I really got into it during the COVID-19 pandemic. I hadn't been in the habit of immersing myself in games until then, but when I tried it while staying at home, I became captivated by the fascinating story and the humanity of each and every character.

—Please share any announcements about your activities and any cosplay you would like to try in the future.

Nekomiya: I originally started cosplay as a hobby, but I usually work as a rookie gravure idol. Besides cosplay events, there are plenty of opportunities to meet me through my gravure work, so I'd be happy if you could check them out. In the future, I'd like to try cosplaying Tifa in a different outfit, as well as characters from Yu-Gi-Oh!, which I love!

—Thank you very much!

With the expressiveness unique to a gravure idol, Nekomiya naturally recreated Tifa's charm. Her sharp posing and intense gaze made the shoot especially memorable.
