Towel Exchange Is Precious and Heart-Fluttering... Anime Blue Box Episode 29: Chinatsu's "I Told You So" Face Draws Reactions of "Cutest in the World"

Episode 29 of the anime Blue Box has been airing in succession since October 25. The "perfectly expressive look" on Chinatsu Kano's face (voiced by Reina Ueda) as she hands a towel to Taiki Inomata (voiced by Shouya Chiba) is trending, with viewers saying, "So cute" and "I love the 'here, see?' face."

In Episode 29, "'Like' Is the Strongest Emotion," Chinatsu runs into a worn-out Taiki after his "shuttle run showdown" with Kazuma Matsuoka (voiced by Yuki Kaji). She quietly hands him a towel, saying with concern, "If you don't wipe off your sweat, you'll catch a cold again." Taiki, thoroughly apologetic, says, "But this is your towel..." and Chinatsu insists, "It's a new one, so don't worry!"

Taiki still hesitates, but he sneezes, perhaps because the sweat has chilled his body. Chinatsu says, "See?" and holds out the towel again with a slightly miffed look. Taiki replies, "Please stop making that 'I told you so' face."

Many viewers seem to have been struck by Chinatsu's chibi-style expression in this scene, and it drew attention with comments like "I love the 'here, see?' face," "The pouty face is so cute," "The 'I told you so' face is adorable," "The 'I told you so' face from the cutest upperclassman in the world," and "I really love this moment between Chinatsu and Taiki, and it's so precious."
