Disney Twisted-Wonderland Anime Savanaclaw Arc Sets December 23 Streaming Date for 8 Episodes, New Visual Revealed

The original series "Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation: Episode of Savanaclaw" will stream exclusively on Disney+ starting Wednesday, December 23.

"Disney Twisted-Wonderland" is a school adventure game featuring characters inspired by the appeal of villains from Disney works. It has won popularity for its original concept, main scenario and character design by manga artist Yana Toboso, best known for "Black Butler," as well as for the unique essence of Disney villains and its richly crafted world set in a school that trains mages.

The animated series "Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation: Episode of Heartslabyul," based on the manga adaptation, began streaming in October 2025. Right after its release it reached No. 1 on X trends in Japan and drew a big response, mainly on social media. It became the most-watched Japanese animated work worldwide on Disney+ (based on views in the first seven days after release) and earned warm support from fans in Japan and abroad. In April, it was also nominated in the Best Isekai Anime category at Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026, one of the world's largest anime events, with winners chosen by votes from anime fans around the globe, and "Disney Twisted-Wonderland" continues to expand its reach.

When the teaser trailer was recently released and Yuuka Hirasaka (voiced by Ai Fairouz) appeared for the first time, comments poured in such as "Leona looks so cool! Can't wait for Savanaclaw" and "Yuuka's voice is husky and cool! Just what I imagined, I'm so happy!" Expectations for the new chapter were already running high. It has now been announced that "Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation: Episode of Savanaclaw" will consist of 8 episodes, streaming exclusively with one new episode every Wednesday starting December 23.
