Fans React to "So Handsome I Ascended" and "Tengen Looks So Good with Roses" as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Unveils New Art of 6 Characters in an Autumn Rose Mansion

Animation studio ufotable announced on its official X account that it will exhibit at Animate Girls Festival 2026 (AGF2026), taking place November 7 to 8, and revealed new illustrations to be used on merchandise and more. The fresh artwork of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba characters, titled "Rose garden," has drawn a strong response from fans.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is an anime based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge. It follows Tanjiro Kamado (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), a boy whose family was slain by demons, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps and throws himself into brutal battles to turn his sister Nezuko (voiced by Akari Kito), who was turned into a demon, back into a human. The original manga was a massive hit and has concluded, and the anime produced by ufotable has expanded across a wide range of media, including theatrical films. Its overwhelming visuals have earned high praise in Japan and abroad.

Released with the comment "We have prepared new illustrations of the characters enjoying reading in the garden of a mansion where autumn roses bloom," the artwork shows Tanjiro, Zenitsu Agatsuma (voiced by Hiro Shimono), Kyojuro Rengoku (voiced by Satoshi Hino), Tengen Uzui (voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi), Giyu Tomioka (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai), and Shinobu Kocho (voiced by Saori Hayami) spending a calm autumn moment inside a gorgeous frame decorated with roses. The classic outfits, including neckties and other Western-style touches, blend with the elegant atmosphere of the autumn reading theme, making it a visual fans will be dying to see.

In response to the post, fans have poured out joy and praise for each character, with comments such as "Tanjiro is so cute... so, so cute... is he an angel?", "Zenitsu is so adorable, I can't handle how cute he is", "Giyu is so handsome I ascended", "Roses suit you so well, Tengen", "Rengoku is so cool my knees gave out", and "Shinobu is so precious it's unreal." Another comment called it "the kind of illustration you want to stare at until you burn a hole through it."
