"Is there anything as cruel as this?" The long-awaited Sapphire Style appeared! But... a desperate pinch!? Anime "MahoPri 2" Episode 6

The sequel to the anime "Witchy Precure!" titled "Witchy Precure!! ~MIRAI DAYS~" (hereafter referred to as "MahoPri 2") is currently airing its sixth episode starting from February 15. Fans have eagerly awaited the appearance of the "Sapphire Style" Precure, and though it finally made its debut, the dire circumstances surrounding it have led to viewers expressing mixed feelings, saying, "I can't genuinely celebrate this..." and "How could something so cruel happen...?"

In "MahoPri 2," several transformation forms familiar from the previous series have been featured, delighting fans. However, the Sapphire Style had yet to make an appearance. Previously, Mirai Asahina (CV: Rie Takahashi) had a vision of the future where the Sapphire Style Precure lay defeated in the wilderness. Does transforming into the Sapphire Style equate to defeat?

In episode 6, titled "The True Purpose," Mirai and Riko Izayoi (CV: Yui Horie) face off once more against the mysterious youth, Aile (CV: Toshiyuki Toyonaga). The two transform into the Pink Diamond Style Precure, striving to avert the worst possible future. However, struggling against the monster created by Ail, they are forced to transform into the Sapphire Style.

Though they managed to defeat the monster, the Precure collapse from exhaustion. As Ail states, "This is the future you saw," the scene mirrors the vision they had seen before...

While the Sapphire Style has finally been depicted, viewers have expressed complex feelings, stating, "The Sapphire Style is as beautiful as ever. But given the situation, I can't genuinely celebrate..." and "How could something so cruel happen...?" It seems fans are finding it difficult to wholeheartedly celebrate.
