■Profile of Haruichi Furudate
Hailing from Iwate Prefecture, Haruichi Furudate is a manga artist. In 2008, his work "King Kid" received an honorable mention at the 14th JUMP Treasure Newcomer Manga Awards. From 2012 to 2020, he serialized "Haikyu!!" in "Weekly Shonen Jump." The series, which passionately depicts the youth of high school students dedicated to volleyball, became a massive hit, leading to adaptations into TV anime, films, and stage plays. The complete series consists of 45 volumes published by Shueisha. As of December 2024, the cumulative number of copies in circulation, including digital versions, has surpassed 70 million.

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture, she is a children's book author.
