"Ryo-chan, I'm twenty years old!!" was the catchphrase when Ryo Saeba flirted (laughs), but "City Hunter" (Ryo is??) has reached its second coming-of-age ceremony. I never imagined back then that people would still be reading it 40 years later, so I drew freely and with abandon like throwing away my shame. Forty years from now, I'll be long gone, but will Ryo still be alive? I hope Ryo will live long, together with everyone.

February 26, the serialization start date of "City Hunter," has been registered as "City Hunter Day" with the Japan Anniversary Association. From now on, let's celebrate the work together every year on February 26 as "City Hunter Day."
