The Overwhelming Animation of Despair: The Battle Between Ryomen Sukuna and Mahoraga in "Jujutsu Kaisen" Was Insane

In the "Shibuya Incident," where jujutsu sorcerers and cursed users/cursed spirits engage in a large-scale conflict centered in Shibuya, there is a battle scene that was said to be of "movie quality." The fight between Ryomen Sukuna (voiced by Junichi Suwabe) and the Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga(Yatsuka-no-Tsurugi Ikaishinsho Makora), depicted in Episode 41, features animation that transcends the realm of TV anime, and its intense and breathtaking action is astonishing no matter how many times you watch it.

In Episode 41, a fierce battle unfolded between Sukuna, the "King of Curses," and Mahoraga, the most powerful shikigami summoned by Megumi Fushiguro (voiced by Yuma Uchida) who risked his own life to do so. Mahoraga possesses a cheat-level ability of "adapting to any phenomenon," allowing it to recover from damage and deflect Sukuna's slashes. On the other hand, after deducing Mahoraga's abilities, Sukuna activates the Domain Expansion "Malevolent Shrine." Sukuna strategically attacks continuously until Mahoraga's recovery cannot keep up. The streets of Shibuya, caught in the crossfire, were utterly devastated.
