"Chiikawa" is a popular manga series posted on X (formerly Twitter) by illustrator Nagano since 2020. It won the Grand Prix at the 'Japan Character Awards 2022' and again at the 'Japan Character Awards 2024' announced in July 2024.

The series enjoys wide popularity among both adults and children, thanks to the contrast between the small, cute characters and the harsh world they inhabit, with its followers currently exceeding 3.78 million. The anime version of "Chiikawa" is currently airing on Fuji TV's "Mezamashi TV" every Tuesday and Friday around 7:40 a.m.
