Official "Crayon Shin-chan" Spin-off & Food Manga "Style of Hiroshi Nohara's LUNCH" to Finally Be Adapted into an Anime!

The manga "Style of Hiroshi Nohara's LUNCH" is set to be adapted into a TV anime starting October 2025 on BS Asahi.

This manga is an official spin-off of the nationally beloved character manga "Crayon Shin-chan". It is a food manga illustrated by Yoichi Tsukahara, revolving around the lunchtime events of Shin-chan's father, Hiroshi Nohara (age 35). The manga portrays Hiroshi's brief moments of respite during lunch as a salaryman working for his family, with utmost dedication to his lunches amidst limited allowances and time—depicting his "Lunch Time Etiquette". The manga has surpassed 800,000 copies in total circulation (print/electronic) and accumulated over 4.4 million PVs (2024) on "manga　crayonshinchan.com", garnering much attention.

Regarding the anime adaptation, manga artist Yoichi Tsukahara stated, "When I first received the offer for an anime adaptation, I felt like I was on cloud nine. Reading the script made me even happier as I felt understood, and watching the completed visuals filled me with awe. When I attended the dubbing session and heard Toshiyuki Morikawa's voice, I felt like I transcended beyond the heavens and even the galaxy." He expressed his joy about the adaptation and its high quality.
