Spring Anime "Sword of the Demon Hunter" Episode 1 Synopsis & Preview Images Released, Additional Cast Includes Kentaro Kumagai & Haruka Shamoto [With Comments]

The synopsis and preview images for Episode 1 "Demon and Humans" of the new anime "Sword of the Demon Hunter" have been revealed. Additionally, it has been announced that Kentaro Kumagai will play the role of Kiyomasa and Haruka Shamoto will play the role of Chitose, with comments from both actors also available.

The series is based on Motoo Nakanishi's epic Japanese-style fantasy. Set in a world overrun by demons, the story follows Jinta, a demon-slaying role, who encounters a mysterious demon that speaks of a distant future. He embarks on an incredible journey spanning 170 years from the Edo period to the Heisei era. The TV anime will begin airing on March 31 on TOKYO MX and other channels, running for two consecutive cours, with the first episode being a 1-hour special. It will also be broadcast simultaneously on ABEMA for the fastest streaming.
