The TV anime 'YAIBA: Samurai Legend', which premieres on April 5th, has revealed the synopsis and preview images for its first episode. Additionally, the ending theme song has been decided as "pineapple tart" sung by Otoha, who has also provided comments.
This work is based on the manga 'YAIBA' by Gosho Aoyama, known for delivering numerous hit works such as "Detective Conan", "Magic Kaito", and "4th Batter Third". The manga was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday from issue 39 in 1988 to issue 50 in 1993. It is an action adventure story that follows the wild samurai child Yaiba Kurogane as he strives for greater strength, embodying the samurai spirit. The manga boasts a total of 24 volumes with a cumulative circulation of 17 million copies. The TV anime 'YAIBA: Samurai Legend', based on this original work, will broadcast from April 5th nationwide on the Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV network, in the Saturday evening 5:30 PM slot.
