Confidence in Playing Oguri Cap Born Through Voice Recording... Report on the Advanced Screening & Talk Show of Anime "Umamusume: Cinderella Gray"

Takayanagi reflected on how, when chosen for the role of Oguri Cap, she initially lacked confidence due to the overwhelming presence of the historical racehorse Oguri Cap. However, after going through the voice recording for the anime "Cinderella Gray," she came to confidently feel that she was the one to play Umamusume's Oguri Cap.

Takayanagi concluded by addressing the audience, saying, "Let's enjoy 'Cinderella Gray' together."

In addition to the cast talk, various new information was revealed during the event. Amidst introductions of collaborations with Kasamatsu Town and the release of "Cinderella Gray" merchandise, the previously undisclosed ending theme was revealed. It was announced that the song "∞" will be performed by Oguri Cap (CV: Tomoyo Takayanagi). Takayanagi expressed her thoughts on the song, saying it allowed her to learn about a wonderful aspect of Oguri Cap.

"Umamusume: Cinderella Gray" is a comic from the cross-media content "Umamusume: Pretty Derby," featuring Oguri Cap as the protagonist, and is currently being serialized in "Weekly Young Jump." The anime version will begin broadcasting on April 6th, airing every Sunday at 4:30 PM on the TBS network and 28 affiliated stations nationwide. The series will be broadcast over two split cours.
