The Anime "The Apothecary Diaries" has released the non-credit opening by Mrs. GREEN APPLE "Kusushiki" and the non-credit ending by Omoinotake "Hitorigoto".

I am truly honored to have received such an opportunity with "The Apothecary Diaries", a work that is beloved not only in Japan but also overseas. We thought about what we could bring to the piece with what we have, and created the song "Kusushiki".

The title "Kusushiki" was decided based on the old Japanese word "kusushi," which is the origin of the word "medicine." Medicine can be something that helps people, but it can also become poison. Inspired by its original meanings of "mysterious" and "enigmatic," we expanded the world view through the melody and lyrics.

Within our unique band sound, we incorporated an oriental atmosphere characteristic of "The Apothecary Diaries" into the melody and instruments, marking a new challenge for Mrs. GREEN APPLE. The theme of the song is "unchanging love that transcends this life and the next," so while the song unfolds rapidly, I hope you will enjoy each line along with the story. The story will continue to become more exciting from here on, so I hope you will enjoy it along with the song.

Unveiling of the non-credit video for the ED theme "Hitorigoto" for the 2nd season 2nd cour

The ending video set to Omoinotake's "Hitorigoto" features Maomao, Xiaolan, and Shisui at its center. The chance encounter between Maomao and Shisui, sparked by the capture of a kitten's fur, and the talkative Xiaolan who connects the two, culminates in a video that offers glimpses into the solid friendship the three have nurtured.
