A Reckless Move During Changing! Viewers Question "Did You Really Have to Throw It There? LOL"

Episode 2 of the anime "Summer Pockets" has been airing sequentially since April 14. The protagonist, who accidentally witnesses Ao Sorakado (CV: Natsumi Takamori) changing clothes, takes a surprising action out of a sense of kindness (?), prompting viewers to question, "Did you really have to throw it there? LOL".

In Episode 2, "How to Spend Summer Vacation," the protagonist, Hairi Takahara (CV: Shōya Chiba), decides to eat the shaved ice he bought at the candy store in the back tatami room. However, upon opening the sliding doors of the room, he finds Ao, who is working part-time at the candy store, in the midst of changing clothes. Directly facing Ao in her pure white underwear, Hairi is so flustered that he throws the shaved ice at her rear.

Hairi tries to explain his actions by saying, "I'm from an all-boys' school, so I'm not used to girls showing a lot of skin… Thus, I felt I had to cover it up…!" Nevertheless, Ao scolds him with a playful retort, saying, "Ah, I see… So that's why ice, huh?—What even was that?!"

The series of blunders prompted viewers to gleefully comment, "Did you really have to throw it there? LOL", "Why, though? LOL" and "I love how the fallen shaved ice perfectly hit the target, pure idiocy at its finest."
