"Summer Pockets" is based on a romantic adventure game released by the popular game brand Key in 2018. The story is set on the fictional island of Torishirojima in the Seto Inland Sea and revolves around the interactions between the boy Hairi Takahara, who visits the island during summer vacation, and several girls.

Episode 2 "How to Spend Summer Vacation"
[Synopsis]
On Torishirojima, it is customary to welcome visitors from outside the island, referred to as ‘Passing People’. The locals, including Ryōichi Mitani, who has a penchant for baring his upper body, Miki Nomura, who targets such miscreants with a sturdy water gun, and Tenzen Kanō, who absurdly devotes passion to table tennis, throw a welcome party for Hairi. During the event, Hairi reunites with Ao Sorakado, a girl he finds sleeping defenselessly in the shade of a tree. As Hairi savors the bustling days on Torishirojima, he begins to wonder about Shiroha, who seems to keep her distance from the islanders for some reason…
