Daisuke Namikawa and Taku Yashiro to Take on New Role as Wednesday Hosts for 'Say You To Yo Asobi'! Celebrating a Unique Duo and a 49th Birthday Right from the First Episode

On ABEMA's "Anime LIVE Channel," the first episode of "Say You To Yo Asobi Wednesday" will air at 10 PM on April 16th (Wednesday), unveiling the hosts for the 2025 season.

Despite various hints given by the person with the paper bag, Yashiro struggled to guess the identity. When the true identity was finally revealed, he was so surprised that he fell back in shock.

Having served as the Thursday host for seven years, Namikawa is moving to Wednesday for his eighth year. This unusual shift in the schedule led to comments like "My sense of days is completely off" and "Namikawa on a Wednesday feels so fresh!" filling the comment section with surprise.

Now stepping into the role of Wednesday host, Namikawa expressed his renewed enthusiasm by saying, "I feel a mission to make it even more entertaining." Yashiro, upon learning that Namikawa would be his partner, shared his delight, saying, "It was Namikawa-san who first asked, 'How about Say You To Yo Asobi?' so I was really happy to hear we could do this together."

However, Yashiro did have one concern. He commented, "Our color tones are too similar," to which Namikawa humorously responded with his first 'Wednesday slip' by saying, "It's my first time seeing Yashiro-kun so close under the lights," and "I think Yashiro-kun is the most handsome man in the Moai world," eliciting laughter.
