The anime "The Apothecary Diaries" has released the synopsis, preview cuts, and a web teaser for Episode 41. Additionally, Natsumi Fujiwara has been cast to play the newly introduced character Kyou-u in this episode.
"The Apothecary Diaries" is an anime based on the novel of the same name by Hyuganatsu. The story takes place in the rear palace, where a young apothecary named Maomao finds herself in the role of a poison tester. She uses her knowledge of poisons and medicines to solve various difficult cases occurring within the imperial court. The second season of the anime has been airing continuously for two cours since January 2025.
