A Sparkling Handsome Eunuch Appears Unrecognizable... In "The Apothecary Diaries," Jinshi Who Seemed Like He Had Fallen Into Darkness Appears Before Maomao, Who Was Conversing With Lihaku

Jinshi (voiced by Takeo Otsuka), the popular eunuch, is overcome with jealousy and exudes a negative aura! In the anime "The Apothecary Diaries," he is filled with horror as he jealously watches Maomao (voiced by Aoi Yuki) and the military officer Lihaku (voiced by Kenji Akabane) enjoying each other's company.

Jinshi, an eunuch overseeing the harem, possesses beauty so captivating that he is likened to a heavenly maiden, charming both men and women alike. Intrigued by Maomao's lack of interest in his beauty, he frequently teases her, only to receive her indifferent reactions as a typical pattern. Initially, Jinshi found Maomao's reactions amusing, but he gradually begins to display a more positive attitude towards her.

At one point, Maomao and Lihaku discuss the recent spate of incidents and accidents privately. Maomao hints that female attendant Suirei (voiced by Kaori Nazuka) might be involved in these occurrences. The amiable and straightforward Lihaku laughs heartily while patting Maomao on the shoulder, saying, "You're quite clever despite appearances!" Suddenly, a voice is heard saying, "It seems like you're having fun..."

There stood Jinshi, glaring resentfully at Maomao and Lihaku from behind a pillar. The usual sparkle in his smile had vanished, replaced by a gloomy negative aura. Maomao coolly responded with, "It's not particularly fun for me," while Lihaku was startled and hurriedly excused himself with, "Well then! I'm off!"

Back in his chamber, Jinshi continued to be bothered, pestering Maomao with remarks like, "You seem to get along well with that officer," showcasing his bad mood for a while.
