"The Apothecary Diaries" is an anime adaptation of the light novel by Hyuganatsu. It has been serialized into comics in two magazines, and the series has exceeded 40 million copies in circulation. The TV anime aired consecutively for two seasons starting from October 2023, and gained popularity and attention through Maomao's detective stories about working as a poison taster in the harem, and her comical interactions with Jinshi. The second season has been airing since January 2025.
