Episode 109 of the anime "Chiikawa" depicted a scene where Chiikawa (voiced by Haruka Aoki), who failed the "Level 5 Grass Weeding Certification," went for ramen with Hachiware (voiced by Makoto Tanaka) as promised, showing a different reaction from before.

Hachiware headed to the results announcement site but arrived late after taking a wrong turn while riding on a sunfish. While some examinees had already left, Chiikawa waited for Hachiware's arrival.

"The results announcement... you've already seen it, right? How did... it go...?" Hachiware asked nervously. After remaining silent with a serious face for a while, Chiikawa suddenly showed a smile with a "Fu!!" Hachiware started to say "You pas..." thinking Chiikawa had passed, but Chiikawa was actually smiling through tears—the result was a failure.

The first time Chiikawa failed, he was so dejected that he couldn't smile or go for the promised ramen. However, this time, even though he failed, he showed growth by keeping the promise to go eat ramen. Hachiware also offered words of friendship: "I'll always support you!!"
