Although Maomao loses consciousness, Jinshi carries her out of the building. With many people bowing their heads, he departs with a dignified expression.

Lakan (voiced by Takuya Kirimoto), who crosses paths with them, looks surprised. Jinshi, who had been wary of Lakan's constant interference until then, seems to have no time for such concerns after the attempt on his life and Maomao's severe injuries. He walks straight ahead without giving Lakan a glance.

The scene of Jinshi walking forward with Maomao in his arms as an insert song plays was met with significant reactions upon airing, with comments like "He looked like a prince, so cool," "I felt the love," and "It brought tears to my eyes."
