From the TV anime 'YAIBA Samurai Legend', scene cuts have been released from episode 7 "Kojirō Revival", which aired on Saturday, May 17th. The episode depicts the young Musashi Miyamoto, who is encountered by Yaiba Kurogane and Namako Otoko (Sea Cucumber Man) during a time slip to the Edo period.
The work is based on the manga 'YAIBA', written by Gosho Aoyama, known for numerous hits such as "Detective Conan", "Magic Kaito", and "The Third". The manga was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from issue 39 in 1988 to issue 50 in 1993. The story is an action epic that follows the samurai wild child, Yaiba Kurogane (CV: Minami Takayama), as he strives for greater strength and advances with a samurai spirit. The manga boasts a cumulative circulation of 17 million copies over 24 volumes. The TV anime 'YAIBA Samurai Legend', based on this manga, has been airing nationwide on the Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV networks every Saturday at 5:30 pm since April 5th.
