Prayer in the Rain: Chiikawa's Earnest Wish for the Sukiyaki Party in "Chiikawa" Episode 111

In episode 111 of the anime "Chiikawa," Chiikawa (CV. Haruka Aoki) is depicted earnestly praying for success as he mails a postcard entering a sweepstakes for a sukiyaki set.

In the first half of episode 111, Chiikawa, Hachiware (CV. Makoto Tanaka), and Usagi (CV. Ari Ozawa) are shown enjoying the "Muchaumai Pudding" prepared by Chiikawa. This pudding was made to apply for a campaign to win a sukiyaki set by eating the delicious pudding.

In the latter part of the episode, Chiikawa pastes the entry ticket on a postcard and goes out to post it in the rain. While posting it, Chiikawa strongly wishes to win, imagining in his mind the three of them happily enjoying delicious sukiyaki.
