The synopsis, preview images, and web trailer for episode 43 of the anime “The Apothecary Diaries” have been released. Additionally, it has been announced that Rica Fukami will be voicing the role of Shenmei, who appears for the first time in episode 43.
“The Apothecary Diaries” is an anime adaptation based on the novel of the same name by Hyuganatsu. Set in the rear palace, the story follows a young girl, Maomao, who becomes an apothecary and poison taster. Using her knowledge of poisons and medicines, she solves various difficult cases that arise in the palace. The second season of the anime began airing in two consecutive cours starting January 2025.
