In past events, there were display cars themed after Nintendo’s hit game “Splatoon,” and the “overwhelming quality” that goes beyond just a hobby was a highlight. Itasha cars gather from all over Japan, from as far north as Aomori to as far south as Kagoshima, and visitors come from across the nation as well.

A dress-up contest will be held for the showcased itasha, where winners determined by vote will receive a trophy.
