Special Pre-Screening Event with Stage Greeting for "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube" to Take Place on June 7! "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube PLUS" Now Serializing

"Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube," originally created by Shō Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Okano, was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump (published by Shueisha) from 1993 to 1999, and will be adapted into an anime beginning July 2.

A pre-screening event with a stage greeting has also been scheduled for Saturday, June 7. Audiences will have the opportunity to view the first and second episodes ahead of the broadcast, and Ryōtarō Okiayu, who voices Meisuke Nueno "Nube" , will appear for the stage greeting after the screening. In addition to a talk about the main story and their thoughts as the broadcast approaches, surprise new information may also be revealed.

The anime’s first broadcast will air on Wednesday, July 2, starting at 11:15 p.m. as a special one-hour back-to-back premiere of episodes one and two! Subsequent episodes will air every Wednesday from 11:45 p.m. in the nationwide “IMAnimation W” slot on TV Asahi (except in some regions). It was also announced that the anime will air in two split cours, with the second cour scheduled to begin in January 2026.

Additionally, a new serialization started on Wednesday, May 14 at midnight via Shueisha's "Shōnen Jump+." The series is titled "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube PLUS" and will update every Wednesday. It depicts previously untold, gem-like "+" episodes that took place quietly in Domori Town during the days when Hiroshi Tateno, Kyōko Inaba, and others were still fifth-grade students in Class 3 of Domori Elementary School.
