The anime premieres on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11:15 p.m. with a special one-hour consecutive broadcast of the first two episodes! Afterward, it airs every Wednesday night at 11:45 p.m. nationwide on the TV Asahi network "IMAnimation W" slot (with some regional exceptions). The second cour is scheduled to air from January 2026.

[INTRODUCTION]
"Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube" is the legendary, massively popular occult comic series by original writer Shō Makura and artist Takeshi Okano, serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump (Shueisha) from 1993 to 1999, with a total series circulation of 29 million copies. Tales inspired by school ghost stories and urban legends have sent chills through readers, while the courage of spirit-powered teacher Meisuke Nueno "Nube" —who risks his life to protect his students from the threats of yokai and evil spirits—has garnered cross-generational popularity. Now, it has been decided that a new anime adaptation will premiere in 2025.

[STORY]
Domori Town has become a hotbed of inexplicable supernatural phenomena. To protect the children, a new teacher is assigned to Domori Elementary School: Meisuke Nueno "Nube" , homeroom teacher of fifth-grade Class 3. While gentle and a bit airheaded in his daily life, he harbors a secret as Japan’s only teacher with spiritual powers. It is rumored that a demon dwells in his left hand!? Mysterious events, yokai, and evil spirits threaten his students, but the righteous messenger from hell rises to face them! The occult hero action story begins!
