Special Exhibition for the Latest Mobile Suit Gundam Series Opens! Photo Spots Recreating Scenes from the Movie "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" and Production Materials on Display

The special commemorative exhibition for the movie advance version "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-" is being held at Anime Tokyo Station starting from Saturday, May 24.

"Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" is the latest installment in the long-running "Mobile Suit Gundam" series that began in 1979. The story follows Amate Yuzuriha (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa), a high school girl living peacefully in a space colony, who gets caught up in the illegal mobile suit dueling competition known as "Clan Battle" after meeting a mysterious girl named Nyaan (voiced by Yui Ishikawa). Co-produced by Studio Khara, known for the "Rebuild of Evangelion" movies, and Sunrise, the film version, released in January ahead of the upcoming TV series, became a huge hit, grossing over 3.34 billion yen at the box office.

At the special exhibition, scene cuts revisiting famous moments from the movie advance version "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-", which was screened prior to the TV series broadcast, are on display.

The exhibition showcases standees of characters such as the protagonist Amate Yuzuriha (Machu) and various mobile suits, photo spots recreating scenes from the film, and valuable production materials such as scripts. There is also a special corner where visitors can enjoy AR photography alongside character motifs from the series.
