“I tried to make my silhouette look beautiful”—A Deep Character Interpretation in Miriella Cosplay from 2.5 Dimensional Seduction

—Thank you for agreeing to another interview following “AnimeJapan 2025”! What made you want to cosplay Miriella from “2.5 Dimensional Seduction” this time?

Ayana Tsuda (hereafter, Tsuda): Thank you so much for reaching out to me again! During the previous interview, I had mentioned that I wanted to try cosplaying from “2.5 Dimensional Seduction” next, and actually, I’ve been hooked on this work for about two years. My absolute favorite is Mikarin, also known as Mikari Tachibana (Miriella).

Last summer, I cosplayed the swimsuit version of Miriella, but I’d always been thinking about when to wear her standard outfit… Since it’s made of enamel material, I wanted to wear it before it gets too hot, so I chose this event, “Niconico Chokaigi 2025.”

—What aspects of the cosplay did you want to express or pay particular attention to this time?

Tsuda: Since Mikari-chan is a character who works as a model, I tried to make my body line look as beautiful as possible, especially when posing. During the photo shoot, I also imagined that Okumura-senpai, whom Mikari-chan adores, was the one pointing the camera at me…! I tried to be as conscious of the world of the work as possible during the shoot.
