The latest trailer and main poster visual for the anime film "Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Chō Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dancers" have been released. Additionally, it has been announced that the theme song will be "Spice" by Saucy Dog.
"Crayon Shin-chan" began serialization in Manga Action in 1990, and its TV anime adaptation started airing in 1992, delivering smiles and touching moments to audiences across generations. The first theatrical film, "Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Action Kamen vs. Haigure Maō," debuted in 1993, and to date, 31 films have been released.
In 2024, the anime film "Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora-tachi no Kyōryū Nikki" set a new record for the highest box office revenue in the history of the theatrical series. The 32nd installment of the series, coming in 2025, is set in India for the first time in Crayon Shin-chan history, where Shinnosuke and the Kasukabe Defense Force will dance in a grand festival! In this film, Bo-chan, the usually soothing yet mysterious presence within the Kasukabe Defense Force, seems different than usual. What in the world has happened to him? Set in the "scorching country" of India, this summer's most exciting dance entertainment the anime film "Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Chō Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dancers" will be released nationwide from Friday, August 8.
The latest trailer opens with a dance scene featuring "Maharaja Bo," dressed in Maharaja-style attire, dancing on a lavish stage! By accident, when a piece of paper that protruded from a backpack shaped like a nose gets stuck in his nose, Bo-chan is led by a wicked power and transforms into the tyrant "Bo-kun." With a piercing gaze, he says, "What do you know about me? My runny nose... will flow no more!" Will Shinnosuke and his friends be able to restore Bo-chan’s runny nose to normal amidst his overwhelming desires?
The latest trailer vividly captures the shocking transformation of Bo-chan, usually so calm and gentle, who now sports sharp eyebrows and eyes, proclaiming with intensity, "This is the real me." We also see Kabir (voiced by Kōichi Yamadera) and Dir (voiced by Show Hayami), the super-elite detective duo, performing a rhythmical duet song full of dance and action, as well as Bo-chan performing an elegant spin against Wolf (voiced by Kento Kaku), a wealthy Indian searching for the ultimate partner. Scenes of singing and dancing abound throughout the film.
The mood switches suddenly as Ariana (voiced by Asami Seto) asks, "What does being like Bo-chan mean?" Her line prompts Shinnosuke and the Kasukabe Defense Force to reflect. What do we really know about Bo-chan? And what defines Bo-chan’s true self? This preview, blending "friendship" and "runny noses" in a heated mix, only increases anticipation for the main feature.
