A MMV (Manga Music Video), born from the collaboration between the ongoing Young Magazine series “Nezumi's First Love” and the four-member rock band CreepHyp’s song “Mamagoto,” has been released.

This collaboration came to life thanks to “Nezumi's First Love” author Riku Oseto, a CreepHyp fan, and Sekai-kan Ozaki (Vo, G), who was deeply moved by the manga’s story—both felt a natural affinity between their works.

“Nezumi's First Love” × CreepHyp “Mamagoto” [MMV]

“Nezumi's First Love” ranked 9th in the men’s edition of Takarajimasha’s “Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2025” and has surpassed 1 million cumulative copies in print. This brutal yet heartrending love story and violence drama depicts the first love of Nezumi, a girl raised by an organization to be an assassin, and Ao, an ordinary young man she meets by chance.

Comment from “Nezumi's First Love” Author: Riku Oseto

I’ve always admired the sense of sorrow that I feel within CreepHyp’s energetic melodies. I created the first chapter of Nezumi's First Love wanting to capture that same sensation. I also believe that the theme of “Mamagoto” links closely with Nezumi's First Love values towards everyday life. The resulting music video is truly amazing. I sincerely hope all of you watch it without fail.

Since I was in junior high school and first heard “Seikai-kan,” I listened to CreepHyp during the lowest and highest points of my life. The 49 minutes when I first listened to the new album were truly a time of happiness. I’m so glad I was able to be involved with this work I love so much.

Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart!!

Comment from CreepHyp’s Sekai-kan Ozaki

When I eat something sweet, I get an uncontrollable craving for something salty. That’s why the “McGriddles” sandwich with syrup-infused pancakes wrapped around sausage, eggs, cheese, and bacon is the perfect food. When I first read “Nezumi's First Love,” I thought, “This is the manga version of a McGriddles!” I’ve been waiting for a work like this for a long time and savored the joy. If something’s too sugarcoated, it feels fake; if it’s too cruel, it’s unbearable. This story is a true invention, reaching an itch I could never scratch until now. I would be overjoyed if the song “Mamagoto” could at least become the hash browns next to Nezumi's First Love.
