Formed in 2001 and solidified the current member lineup in November 2009, CreepHyp began full-fledged activity. In 2012, they made their major label debut with the album “Shinu made Isshou Aisareteru to Omotteta yo.” They held their first two-day concert at Nippon Budokan in 2014, and returned for their second successful Budokan performance “CreepHyp no Subete” in May 2018, nearly four years later. In December 2021, they released their sixth album “Yoru ni Shigamitsuite, Asa de Tokashite.” In 2023, they held the arena tour “Hontou Nante Buttobashiteyo” at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall and Osaka-jo Hall. In November 2024, they will perform their largest solo show ever at K Arena Yokohama to celebrate their 15th anniversary as the current lineup with the special concert “2024-11-16.”

Vocalist/guitarist Sekai-kan Ozaki is also an author, releasing his first novel “Yusuke” (Bungeishunjū) in 2016. Other works include “Kujyu 100%,” “Kujyu 200%” (both Bungeishunjū), “Nakitakunaru Hodo Ureshii Hibi ni” (KADOKAWA), lyric collection “Shigoto” (Kawade Shobo Shinsha), “Omokage” (Shinchosha), among others. His latest novel “Ten no Koe” (Bungeishunjū), published in book form in July 2024, was nominated for the Akutagawa Prize for a second time.
