"Kingdom" began serialization in 2006, and Ikimono-gakari also debuted in 2006. Like the protagonists Shin and Ei Sei, both have powerfully spread their wings, and now "Kingdom" has become a work known by everyone throughout Japan. As we have long watched this work grow as grand as a great general, we, Ikimono-gakari, are honored to participate in this wave as performers of the anime’s theme song. This also reminds us of our conversations with original author Hara-sensei since our debut. We have created an anthem celebrating the earnestness of living life to the fullest.

The battles in "Kingdom" are truly clashes of conviction upon conviction. To express this heat, I recorded everything from the clashing sounds of armor, shouts, and even roars all from scratch. The lyrics are layered with elements that evoke the historical backdrop and the world of the story.

The finished track is a powerful piece that conjures images of roars echoing and massive armies charging across the land. Along with Season 6, please experience the resounding sounds of battle that strike your heart. It is an honor from the bottom of my heart to have been entrusted with the ending theme.

The first main trailer for the TV anime "Kingdom" Season 6 has been released. In this season, Shin sets out to war bearing the spear of Ō Ki (Wang Qi).

Ō Ki, a hero admired by all and a great general feared across all of China, was the one who named the "Hi Shin Unit" led by Shin and served as Shin’s role model for what a great general should be. At the Battle of Bayou, in his mortal combat with his fated rival, the "martial god" Hō Ken, Ō Ki, on the verge of death, entrusted his spear to Shin, passing his dreams and hopes on to the next generation.

Eight years after Ō Ki’s death, Shin, having grown as a warrior after surviving countless deadly battles with many comrades, decides to take on an all-out war with Zhao wielding the spear entrusted to him by Ō Ki.

In the main trailer, viewers can get a sneak peek at Ikimono-gakari’s OP theme "Ikite, San-san," with visuals linking the lyrics to scenes of Shin pushing forward at the vanguard, taking on the strongest opponents to carry the tears and hopes of the fallen comrades into the future.
