Namikawa & Yashiro Fire Off Sharp Retorts to Staff's “Am I the Only One?” Comments! New Segment: "Hey, Is It Just Me?"

Next up was the "Pokapon Game," where they battled to send their opponent's toy head flying with a hammer. The winner would be the first to three victories. Namikawa took the first round, and the showdown grew tense. "This is tougher than last week’s floor scrubbing..." Namikawa joked wryly. There were even some rare moments where both heads flew off at the same time, prompting them to look back and laugh, saying, "What a mess."

Following that was the "Rubik's Cube Match." Competing to see who could complete one side within 90 seconds, Namikawa complained, "There are factions inside the Rubik’s Cube that just refuse to line up the same color," while Yashiro admitted, "I've never completed one in my life." Both of them struggled in this challenging match.

They also faced off in a Famicom battle in "Super Mario Bros." After deciding who would go first, the winner would be whoever could reach the furthest stage. In an unexpected turn, they both failed to clear even Stage 1-1, ending in a game over. Namikawa remarked, "This is emotional," and after a rematch, they finally managed to determine a winner.

Midway through the show, the new segment “Hey, Is It Just Me?” featured stories submitted by staff about things they wondered if only they experienced. Responding to the comment, "I get excited when my favorite anime character gets beaten up," Namikawa immediately shot back, "I don’t get that at all!"

On the other hand, Yashiro laughed awkwardly and confessed, "It’s a problem if you dig too deep… but I guess I’m an M," explaining he enjoyed watching heroes like Ultraman in distress scenes as a child. When another unique opinion came up, "When I play a certain fairy tale anime movie while cooking, the food comes out better," the two burst into laughter, joking, "Why is that a set rule?"

They also touched on other “hard to relate to” submissions, such as “I find myself charmed by women who sneeze like old men,” responding with sharp retorts and plenty of laughter, wrapping the studio in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
