The synopsis, preview stills, and web preview for episode 46 of the anime “The Apothecary Diaries” have been released. Additionally, it has been announced that after the broadcast of episode 46, the music video (MV) for the opening theme “Kusushiki” by Mrs. GREEN APPLE will premiere at 23:30 on Friday the 13th.
“The Apothecary Diaries” is an anime adaptation of the novel of the same name by Hyuganatsu. Set in the imperial harem, the series follows Maomao, a pharmacist who becomes a poison tester. Using her knowledge of poisons and medicines, she solves various difficult incidents that occur within the palace. From January 2025, the anime’s second season is being broadcast over two consecutive cours.
