The anime Kaiju No.8 Season 2 will begin airing and streaming from Saturday, July 19 at 11:00 p.m. Ahead of this, a wealth of new information has been revealed, including the Season 2 main PV [A New Threat] edition, details on the opening theme, new cast members, and information about advance screenings and streaming.
The unveiled main PV [A New Threat] edition for Season 2 is packed with battle action, featuring the appearance of the strongest anti-kaiju force in Japan, the First Division led by Gen Narumi.

The OP theme for Season 2, which colors this PV, is set as “You Can’t Run From Yourself” by Norwegian Nordic pop singer-songwriter AURORA. AURORA, who also gained attention in Japan by playing the “mysterious voice” in the 2019 Disney film Frozen II, commented, “I have always loved anime and I know my love for anime will never change.
