Yo Asobi Staff Infiltrates a Premium Talk Show in Osaka!? Chiaki Kobayashi Panics After Learning About It Live on Air

The eighth episode of "Say You To Yo Asobi" Monday aired on June 16th (Monday) at 10 PM on the ABEMA Anime LIVE channel.

This time, since Kobayashi was in Osaka for work two weeks ago and also has an event coming up in Osaka this weekend, the show featured a special segment: "Chiaki Kobayashi Presents! Osaka Project, Let’s Do It~!"

First, Kobayashi began sharing stories about his memories from the premium talk show held at Miyako Hotel. He recalled, "There were deep-fried takoyaki at the morning buffet, which they apparently serve to guests every day. When I got to try it, it was super delicious!" Suddenly, a member of the program staff broke in and commented, "You looked really good in that black suit and black glasses."

Sensing something odd, Yasumoto probed, "Was that your costume?" Kobayashi replied, "Yes, it was." Another staff member added, "Chiaki, at first I thought you’d make a regular entrance with an announcement like 'Here’s Chiaki Kobayashi!' but you actually came in from the back, which was a bit surprising," and continued, "Even when you left the venue after the event, you came back towards the audience, which made me happy." Yasumoto responded with, "Wait… was there a spy (from the staff) in the venue?" Kobayashi, also surprised, exclaimed, "No way! Was it you?!" The staff then confirmed, "Your feet weren't touching the ground because the chair was too high, right?" Kobayashi replied, "It was definitely higher than a bar counter."

Next, the program staff asked, "When you said you ate takoyaki, didn't you look a bit embarrassed?" Kobayashi recalled, "While I was eating, every single guest was staring intently at the moment I took a bite..." Yasumoto commented, "Usually, fans go to that kind of event to see you eat and then gush, 'He's so cute!'"
